a less critical nature.
a more joyful heart.
less laziness in the areas that really matter.
more laziness towards the things that have no eternal value.
in the spirit of the latter, i give you:
HUMILITY
yes, my house is on the market. wonder why no one has bought it yet... a small person could survive for weeks under my couch.
i'm a work in progress... thanks for loving me, friends!

Oh my gosh, you're human! I never once recall looking under the sofa when I was touring houses for sale. If I had, I would have seen a lot of cat vomit and hair balls the size of my head. (We were lucky enough to find those at our closing.)
Someone once told me "a clean house is a sign of a wasted life." The crumbs under your couch are proof that your life is not wasted.
HA! I love the quote from JenHahn. :) AND I too am loving the fact that you are normal. I have a husband and 3 children who are alot more important than what's lurking under my couch. Our home is clean with that lived in look.
My couches look much the same I am afraid... You will have plenty of time to have an immaculate house once the girls are grown and gone. I keep hearing that I will miss this stage and all the little messes. I'm not sure about that, but I am sure I will miss the little kids running around making those messes.
Keep up the good work of being a wife and mom. Love your blog!
